Expanding Population
Copperas Cove's Central location is undoubtedly its greatest asset. It is within a two-hour drive of
a population base of over 5,000,000 people and a retail trade area of approximately 250,000 people.
Copperas Cove is easily accessible by U. S. Highway 190, a four-lane, controlled access highway and
is only a short 20 minutes to Interstate 35, the north-south corridor between Dallas/Fort Worth
and Austin/San Antonio.
Copperas Cove is part of the Killeen-Temple Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Killeen-Temple MSA
is made up of the cities of Temple, Belton, Harker Heights, Killeen and Copperas Cove. The
Killeen-Temple MSA continues to be one of the fastest growing MSAs in the State of Texas.
