The 4th Annual Economic Outlook Conference hosted by the Fort Hood Economic Region (FHER) was well attended on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. The purpose of the conference was to better acquaint community leaders with the shifts that are occurring in regional, state, national and global economies. Invited guests included community leaders, business leaders, school administrators and economic developers.
FHER (formerly known as CTEC) is a group comprised of Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation, Belton Economic Development Corporation, the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, and Workforce Solutions of Central Texas. FHER members work together to market Central Texas to companies wishing to expand or relocate to the area. Additionally, FHER partners on efforts that will benefit the region, such as this conference.
